Capella University was earlier known as the Graduate School of America and was founded by Dr. Harold Abel and Stephen Shank. One special feature that distinguishes Capella University from others is that even all the under graduate courses are offered online in this university and are legitimate.
Overview
The Capella University offers a special feature for every course. They are the GuidedPath model and FlexPath model. Although course syllabus, books etc are same for both types some differences arise in the study mode. The Flexpath model is designed for self-motivated individual and is offered in completely online mode. The GuidedPath is little more interactive with weekly assignments and discussions.
Accreditation
Capella University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. This is a regional accreditation agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. The MBA programs are also accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs.
